Western has a professional skim boarder among its student body.Western junior Emile Panerio, who is studying marketing and psychology, has many talents. He loves to skateboard, snowboard and is part of an upbeat indie-rock band called Learning Team. To add to this list, Panerio competes professionally in skim boarding competitions.

Bellingham band gets a kickstart

By using the crowd-funding website Kickstarter, Bellingham-based band Eclecticity hopes to not only secure enough money to release a second album, but also to inspire and unite others through their music.
